Melanie Roach-Bekos, a Wisconsin native, has been involved with the The ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter since 1993 as she helped plan and organize the Chapter's annual Evening of Hope Gala, which is now going into its 22nd year. She became the Chapter's Executive Director in 2007.

The ALS Association - Wisconsin Chapter evolved from a local support group and became an official ALSA Chapter in 1987. The Chapter is led by its Executive Director and Care Services Director and their teams, and operates under the guidance of a volunteer Board of Directors. In addition, volunteers and community partners provide invaluable support to the Chapter.
