Part-time/PRN Position

A speech therapist, also known as a speech-language (SLP), is a healthcare professional who specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders and swallowing difficulties. A SLP for Home Health, is responsible for providing speech therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes or other living facilities. The primary goal of a home health SLP is to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them regain or improve their functional abilities.

Requirements

• Ability to stay informed about the latest research, advancements, and best practices in speech therapy through ongoing professional development activities, such as attending workshops, conferences, and various training sessions.
• Maintain licensure and comply with all state, federal, and professional regulations and standards related to speech therapy practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
• Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.
• All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.

Experience

• Master's degree
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• 3-5 years
• Valid and unrestricted license to practice speech therapy in the state of Montana
