Our end client is in need of a Wind Farm Technician to join their organization for a PERMANENT opportunity. This is a permanent non-exempt (hourly) position that will be 10% Office work/90% Field work with a starting hourly rate of $31.88/hour. This position offers benefits, has the potential of annual incentive compensation, and will include relocation assistance for applicants outside of the area.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Performing operation and maintenance work on wind turbine generators and balance of plant equipment including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications.
• Identifying and reporting safety issues and ensuring that all safety and health requirements are followed.

• 1+ years of experience as field technician experience REQUIRED.
• Wind turbine generator basic training experience REQUIRED.
• Ability to use computer and MS Office REQUIRED.
• Ability to read and understand all materials related to repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing WTGs and balance of plant REQUIRED.
• Must be available to be on call for up to two weeks at a time.
• Must be available to work holidays if needed.
• Must be available to work extended hours as needed.
• Must be able to climb a wind turbine generator and follow boundary limits and required safety PPE when working around high voltage electrical equipment.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, i.e., cold temperatures, snow, rain, and heat.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must have or be able to attain a commercial driver's license (CDL).
