Machinist n eeded for Yoh Staffing Services Client, located in Kalispell, MT. This position is available as a 18 month contract with a good chance of going permanent.
This is for the number one producer of ion implanters in the world.

Shifts two positions:
1 position - 10 hours swing shift - 4.30 pm to 3 am - Monday to Thursday
1 position - 10 hours day shift - 6 am to 4.30 pm - Monday to Thursday

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Experience in operating CNC Mill or CNC Lathe running machinery such as Sandblaster, power washer, bead blaster, and ovens.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings.
• Use of power tools
• Can perform basic calculations.

• Safely operate a CNC Mill or CNC Lathe preforming basic operations in producing parts, modifications and repairs to existing parts and assemblies, and/or fabricating parts from steels, stainless steels, aluminum, plastics and other non-metals.
• Support in-house customers. Portrays a customer service approach.
• Utilizes work orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine matching process, procedures, tooling and fixtures requirements. Performs basic machining and/or assembly tasks utilizing standard machine shop equipment.
• Plans and performs basic machine set ups.
• Possess the ability to perform basic calculations, which are required to accurately calculate angles used in set-ups and machining.
• Makes full use of machine capacity to minimize amount of machining or number of set-ups required to produce parts competitively.
• Performs machining operations. Monitor machines and verify that part dimensions conform to specifications.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications using a variety of tools.
• Maintains cleanliness of the work area and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss. Conforms to departmental safety requirements.
