Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Manager Risk Management- Fraud Prevention in San
Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Analyze and propose fraud risk strategies based on real-time data on consumer
lending and credit card products, logins, credit bureau, third-party vendors. Use data to drive
business proposals and lead team initiatives with excellent communications skills. Collaborate
well with teammates and business partners and influence business decisions. Bring innovative
ideas to build analytics-driven fraud prevention strategies, design and architect member
registration and login authentication process, ecosystem anomaly detection, account takeovers
and reward gaming. Deliver data-driven decisions and work closely with Cyber Security,
Member team, Member success, and Fraud Operations to innovate processes and learn and
iterate on strategies and processes. Work collaboratively with the Data Science team or Fraud
and Risk Infrastructure teams to identify the opportunity to either build or purchase new
capabilities. Understand fraud risk (3rd party, 1st party, and Synthetic) and develop approaches
to mitigate fraud loss and responsibly grow revenue through. Monitor performance of strategies
and ecosystem. Document and communicate results and escalate issues as necessary. Identify
gaps/opportunities and drive actions. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Data
Analytics, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered
or in any occupation in a related field.
